Promo Rates: Terms and conditions

• To be eligible for the Promo FX Rate + Free Transaction promotion ("Promotion") you must sign up for OrbitRemit via OrbitRemit's special Promo FX rate-branded landing page and successfully complete your first transfer.
• The Promotion is available for first time customers only and is limited to one (1) per customer. Existing customers are not eligible for this promotion. This Promotion is not valid with any other offer.
• OrbitRemit reserves the right to limit the number of individuals per household eligible for this Promotion. Any attempt by a customer to abuse this Promotion by using multiple/different identities, registrations, logins, and/or any other methods, will void and disqualify the customer from receiving the Promotion at OrbitRemit's sole discretion.
• The Promotion will entitle eligible customers to: (i) make one (1) transfer without transaction fees on their first transfer (the “Qualifying Transfer”); and (ii) for the Qualifying Transfer, transfer up to the value noted at the promotional exchange rate published on OrbitRemit's landing page or mobile application (the “Promo Rate”) that is linked to these Terms and Conditions, at the rate published at the time that the Qualifying Transfer is submitted by the customer.
• Free Transfer Conditions. The free transfer will be directly applied to your first successfully completed transaction during the Promotion Period. Transfers submitted outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible for a free transfer. Free transactions may not apply to transactions made with credit or debit cards.
• Promo FX Rate Conditions. The Promo FX Rate will be applied by OrbitRemit directly to your Qualifying Transfer up to the Promo Rate Cap and cannot be used on subsequent transfers. The Promo FX Rate is valid for Qualifying Transfers submitted during the Promotion Period. The Qualifying Transfer must be Successfully Completed to be eligible for the Promo FX Rate.
  • A transfer is considered “Successfully Completed” when funds are deposited into your intended recipient's bank account or the cash sent is picked up by the recipient at one of our partner locations. If the transaction is not Successfully Completed, the Promo FX Rate available at the time of initiation will not be applied to any future transfers.
  • Amounts sent in excess of the Promo Rate Cap will be sent at the FX Rate applicable to the service selected by you at the time of your transaction. We will display an Effective Rate for transfers above the Promo Rate Cap. The Effective Rate will be the average rate of the Promo Rate and the Standard Rate at the time of the transfer.
  • All FX rates are subject to change from time to time at OrbitRemit's discretion.
• Your election to participate in the Promotion will render you ineligible for participation in other promotions that OrbitRemit may run and that you may otherwise have been eligible for. Your election to participate in the Promotion is final.
• The Promotion will be valid for qualifying transfers submitted during the Promotion Period. The “Promotion Period” begins on May 22nd 2024 at 12:00 AM New Zealand Standard Time (ST) and ends AT 11:59 PM New Zealand ST on December 31st 2025. OrbitRemit's server is the official clock for the Promotion.
• Insufficient funding of your transfer will render you ineligible for the Promotion. The Promotion will not be valid for any otherwise qualifying transaction that is cancelled either by you or by OrbitRemit.
• This is a limited time offer. OrbitRemit reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time, with or without prior notice. Any Qualifying Transfer will be honored if initiated prior to the Promotion's cancellation. OrbitRemit reserves the right to void the Promotion, or individual transfers, if transfers appear to be fraudulent or are not compliant with OrbitRemit's Terms Of Use OrbitRemit reserves the right to disqualify transfers that, in its opinion, are intended to circumvent Promotion rules, or are deemed to be abusive.
• You may not participate in the Promotion where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law, statute, or regulations. OrbitRemit will collect, disclose and otherwise handle personal information (PI) in conducting the Promotion in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at OrbitRemit Privacy Policy In addition, OrbitRemit may also use PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning customers.
